Lenten Retreats:

Aig Fois on-line retreat

Rachel Inglis of Aig Fois in Kirkcudbright, writes,

“This Lent an online Lent retreat offered by the Jesuits in Scotland will start on Ash Wednesday, 26th  February. To register yourself on the retreat sign up here.

The theme this year is ‘Journey Into Freedom’ and the retreat materials are based on the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius.  The advantage of an online retreat is that you can go at your own pace, linger where you feel drawn, pray at times and in a place that suits you.

If you’d also find it helpful and encouraging to meet others on the same journey, this is to confirm that I will facilitate a weekly group meeting of retreatants. It’s a pleasant way of getting to know other people in the area who you might not know well and last year we had a lovely ecumenical vibe going on!

The first group meeting will be on Monday, 24th February from 1.30-3.30, in the RC hall in Kirkcudbright (off the High Street, down the lane between the Police Station at the new premises of SCVS), and thereafter on the following 7 Mondays: March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and April 6, 13.  If you’d like to join us, please let me know in advance if possible.”
