The St John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in Dumfries celebrated the 100 year anniversary of its Mothers’ Union. On 16 November 1922, the first Mothers’ Union in Dumfries was initiated. The members of Mothers’ Unions across the region were invited to attend the celebrations with the Mothers’ Union of St John the Evangelist. Bishop Kevin Pearson presided over a service and attended the luncheon afterwards. Here are pictures of the members from St Ninian’s and Christ Church who participated in this happy event.
