12th Jan Congregational Open Meeting to discuss how we use and run the Gordon Memorial Hall to follow after the Eucharist.

19th Jan at 3:00pm Dalbeattie Churches Together Service for Christian Unity in Castle Douglas Parish Church.
Julian Group: Tuesday 14th January, 2.15 pm at Sue Thomas’ home, Savat. Now that Sue has finished her studies she is starting up the Julian Group again. It will be monthly on the 2nd Tuesday and all are welcome. If you are planning to come along, please let her know in advance so she can be sure to put out a chair for you (suethomas21@btinternet.com or 01556 612863).
Healing Blankets are available in both churches. If you know of someone suffering illness, grief or loneliness, in need of a
‘comforter’, please take a blanket from the front of church. The recipient will know that they are enfolded in the prayers of the church.
Donations for local Food Banks can be left at the back of
both churches. St Ninian’s supports CD ‘Helping Hands Food Bank’ and Christ Church supports Kirkcudbright Food Bank. Non-perishable foods please, also toiletries. NB: Please will you write the Best Before Date clearly on food items. This helps the people at the Food Banks and saves them time looking for hard to find dates.
