1st Dec @ 4:00pm Musical Reflection for Advent at Christ Church, Dalbeattie.

God’s promise of a Redeemer is about to be fulfilled.   This will be a quiet space to express our contrition, and through prayer, scripture and music, to reflect on God’s mercy and forgiveness and his wonderful gift of Redemption and Salvation.  This is a non-denominational time of prayer.   All are welcome.

2nd Dec @ 7:00pm at the Parish Church CD. Castle Douglas Churches Together – Celebrating Christmas with Angels.

Carol Services: Christopher would like suggestions for carols and poems to be used at our carol services in December.

Christ Church Winter Sale: Thank you to everyone who supported this by donating, crafting, baking, volunteering, and by coming along to the event. The total currently stands at £1,400.90. A special thank you and congratulations to the ladies who once again organised a wonderful event.

Healing Blankets are available in both churches. If you know of someone suffering illness, grief or loneliness, in need of a

‘comforter’, please take a blanket from the front of church. The recipient will know that they are enfolded in the prayers of the church.

Donations for local Food Banks can be left at the back of

both churches. St Ninian’s supports CD ‘Helping Hands Food Bank’ and Christ Church supports Kirkcudbright Food Bank. Non-perishable foods please, also toiletries. NB: Please will you write the Best Before Date clearly on food items. This helps the people at the Food Banks and saves them time looking for hard to find

Please pray for…
