Help Needed with the Flower & Brass Rota at St. Ninian’s
Val is wanting to share the responsibility of the Flower & Brass Rota due to other time commitments.
Would anyone who feels able to help contact her please?

Healing Blankets are available in both churches. If you know of someone suffering illness, grief or loneliness, in need of a
‘comforter’, please take a blanket from the front of church. The recipient will know that they are enfolded in the prayers of the church.

Donations for local Food Banks can be left at the back of
both churches. St Ninian’s supports CD ‘Helping Hands Food Bank’ and Christ Church supports Kirkcudbright Food Bank. Non-perishable foods please, also toiletries.

St Ninian’s Food Bank Donations
A message from Jenny Wright.

The amount of food being left at the back of church has diminished. I think in a lot of cases people are leaving contributions in the Co-op trolley as it is easier and that is fine. However, now I live in Kirkcudbright it is more difficult to deliver due to small time slots. Any comments to me please as if there is no demand for this service it will cease and if there is a demand, perhaps someone would like to volunteer to take on the delivery. It is interesting to meet the staff at the food bank.
